New schools resource pack

‘Hand in Hand’ is a resource pack designed to help schools and community organisations work together to meet the needs of refugees and asylum seekers in secondary education. This resource pack has also been created to help foster community cohesion by engaging parents and carers of refugees, and the wider community, in inclusive education activities.

This resource is a good starting point for teachers, school administrators, local authorities as well as refugee community organisations (RCOs) working on behalf of refugee and asylum seekers in education. Education practitioners and RCO representatives who are more familiar with the issues and activities covered by this resource pack will also find new materials and suggestions. – Refugee Council
