Our Leader?

You say we chose you as our Leader
Why is the gap between us getting wider
The poor are just like the poor church mice
The rich find everything to be all good and nice
We live in one country yet it seems as two
The few who are smiling and plenty crying too
Either you have it all or you dont at all
Yet you say you are the Leader of us all
Is there no way we can meet in the middle
This I ask of you our Leader, it’s not a riddle
The ordinary people, your people, suffer incessantly
The wealthy, your people too, getting richer increasingly
One leader one people, why the stratification
Why not bring about equality to everyone’s satisfaction
You are incapable why not pass the button stick
We are one nation, one people together we should stick
You say you are our leader we chose you
We chose you, now we are at liberty not to choose you
Accept the fact that only change is constant
Ceteris paribus is just theoritical, nothing else is constant
You say you are our Leader we chose you
Why treat us with such cruelty if we chose you
Why cant we drink clean water if we chose you
Why cant we get food, medication and respect if we chose you
Our Leader we need a long life, we need peace and equality
Our Leader we need justice, no decadency, no corruption and cruelty
Our Leader we need good education, employment and electricity
Dear Leader it is noble to bow out now and enhance productvity.
You can rest you must be tired from leading us astray
Just a few are content the rest of us you continue to betray
We need rejuvenation, new blood and a new direction
Bow out now and noone will put you in detention
