Entitlement to Housing and other services
July 31, 2009 by Webmaster
Frequent changes to asylum and immigration legislation and policy can make it difficult for practitioners to keep up-to-date and to ensure that they are offering the most effective advice and practice. On the other hand, asylum seekers, refugees and migrants are often not aware of their rights and entitlements and do not have a support network in this country.
Consequently, these groups are more likely to end up homeless and without appropriate support. This course to be held on the 05th of November 2009 will explore the legislative framework and routes of access to housing and other services for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants
The Refugee Council provides a wide range of comprehensive training courses. Visit our website for a complete list of courses or to book a course
