Editorial Team

The Editorial team of HAT News is made up of professional Journalists from around the world who are either currently refugees and asylum seekers in the UK or have gained their ’status’ but are not currently working in journalism.

Kenneth Mawomo is the Editor of HAT News and leads a team consisting of other journalists from Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Sudan. The list continues to grow as the news spreads about the project.  Kenneth is also the Editor of EWALIN – a News Agency covering Development issues across Africa

John Coster is the Editor of Citizens Eye Community News Agency that provides a platform for all community groups in Leicester City and Leicestershire County to promote their news and events. John  is also the Founder of  EWALIN and  Geo-POD NGO.
