THREE Iranian asylum-seekers who staged a 37-day hunger strike have won their battle to remain in the UK.
The men demonstrated outside Lunar House, the UK Border Agency’s headquarters in Wellesley Road, for nearly five weeks after their initial applications for asylum were turned down.

A primary care practice providing health and social care to homeless people, asylum seekers and refugees in Bradford and Airedale has become a social enterprise organisation.
Bevan Healthcare, a community interest company formed recently by the staff of Bevan House Primary Care Centre, took on responsibility for running the service on 1 September, as part of the NHS Transforming Community Services agenda. It will deliver primary care services to its patients on behalf of the NHS.

There seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding at the heart of the debate which is exploited by certain papers and politicians to trick the British public into thinking things which aren’t true. Piled one on top of the other, these misleading contortions combine to create an unreal picture in the minds of the many.
